As a result, the number of human resources for health has doubled over the past 10 years. However, it is still far from the level encouraged by WHO, and a major challenge is to increase the number of health personnel needed to further expand the health service network. In addition, government is also reviewing the curriculum to improve the quality of our health services.<br>The ICS Maputo, in the capital city of Maputo, is one of the largest medical schools in the country, but has suffered a significant shortage of facilities and equipment since the school's facilities were shared by a senior medical school. In addition, facility constraints prevented the implementation of education with a practical training, which also affected the quality of education.<br>Therefore, the government of Mozambique formulated a plan to build a new school at ICS Maputo and relocate some of its functions.
